Sales Development Associate

We are seeking a full-time Sales Development Associate to build our customer base and overall sales. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded person with a go get 'em attitude to connect with potential customers, introduce the company and products, and build relationships. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails

  • Present our company to potential clients

  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Attend Industry Trade Shows and Conferences representing Copper Range

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and the Sales Team

  • Report to the Sales and Marketing Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing plans

  • Work with Marketing on improving and perfecting Sales message, based on your interactions with potential customers

What you need:

  • High School Diploma

  • 2-4 years Sales/Retail/Service or other customer-facing experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Basics of Microsoft Office (mostly Powerpoint, Excel, Word)

  • Interest in software and technology

  • Ready to learn

Extras that help:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or related

  • Knowledge of Construction and/or Manufacturing Industries

  • Lead Generation experience

  • Experience with a CRM software
