Sales Development Associate
We are seeking a full-time Sales Development Associate to build our customer base and overall sales. We are looking for an entrepreneurial minded person with a go get 'em attitude to connect with potential customers, introduce the company and products, and build relationships. The position reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities include:
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Present our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Attend Industry Trade Shows and Conferences representing Copper Range
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and the Sales Team
Report to the Sales and Marketing Director on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing plans
Work with Marketing on improving and perfecting Sales message, based on your interactions with potential customers
What you need:
High School Diploma
2-4 years Sales/Retail/Service or other customer-facing experience
Excellent communication skills
Basics of Microsoft Office (mostly Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
Interest in software and technology
Ready to learn
Extras that help:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, or related
Knowledge of Construction and/or Manufacturing Industries
Lead Generation experience
Experience with a CRM software
